  • What happens when...

...you've agreed to certain terms in your relationship, but then you decide those terms just aren't working for you any more? Like, say you agree to an open relationship, and then you decide you want a commitment, what can you do? You made a promise. Risk ruining everything by bringing it up, or suffer silently?

  • Just when I thought all hope was lost...

Such a surprise, last thing I ever expected.
What an amazing evening. He was everything he used to be... so funny and relaxed...flirtatious. Such crazy chemistry that we try to have 3 different conversations at once because we get so excited. Circumstances may not be ideal, the timing may be catastrophically wrong, but with strength, patience and of course love, who knows what the future holds. :)

  • Just a little fix...

I'm trying to replace this hole in my life with exercising, a 2nd job, new friends...no matter how busy I am and how distracted I pretend to be you are still there. Why has this happened? Never before has a guy had this effect on me. Its like a virus that won't go away. Why cant I just let go?

  • Advice from your girlfriends? DUMP HIM

It really bothers me sometimes how critical women are of their men. I understand bitching to your girlfriends over lunch, we all know guys talk about the old ball and chain as well. That is just natural. But in my personal experience, women are so quick to judge another woman's man. There are two sides to every story people. I guarantee that even your best girlfriend isn't telling the entire story and presenting information without bias.

I can almost understand though... you're trying to be supportive of your friend. What I absolutely cannot understand and refuse to understand is why women are so critical of their own man. Yes there are douchebags out there who deserve but sometimes...I hear a woman going on and on about the pain and distress she's in because her boyfriend likes to play poker with his buddies on Tuesday nights. Or, her boyfriend just ran into a buddy from college and wants to have a drink and may be a little late coming over tonight. Or maybe he said the wrong thing, or got too caught up in his job this week, or forgot that you didnt like onions when bringing over take out. These things mean nothing in the grand scheme of things, no man is perfect. Why criticize, why punish them over small stuff? If something seriously bothers you, sit down and talk about it without accusations or harsh words. I literally cringe at some of the conversations I overhear. At Walmart the other day, this girl got so pissy and rude to her boyfriend because he couldn't help her pick out hair gel and said "you're never any help" in a demeaning, rude tone for all to hear. When she picked out her hair product and put it in the cart, she looked at him and YELLED "Obviously I'm done this means you can push the cart now." At least 7 people overheard that. Not necessary people. Because then you know what happens... a nice girl ends up with that poor guy 10 years down the road and he's so gun shy to relationships that they deadend before it even begins.

Just think people. Think before you speak. Hear your words before others do.This absolutely applies to guys as well but honestly, I see it more with women.

  • An Assignment for the Heart: What do you love about your significant other?

    I love you...

I love you because you mumble in your sleep...
because you hog the blankets then blame it on me the next day...

I love you because you lay your head in my lap...
because you can fall asleep mid-sentence after a long day...

I love you because you won't rest until everyone around you is taken care of...
because you are the last person you want to see happy...

I love you because you still give me butterflies...
because the world stands still when you kiss me fiercely...

I love you because of those amazing moments...
you know the ones, where our eyes meet from across the room and we sign contently and happily...

I love you because you get on my nerves sometimes...
frustrate me beyond words and when i get over it I just love you more...

    I love you...
because you are you...the one for me.
My greatest happiness, and my greatest heartache...
